About Tahini Royal
Our name is synonymous with quality AND quantity
Tahini Royal is jointly run by brothers Jean, Karim and Anton Boulos. Since starting our business in the early 90s, we have gained vast experience in the food industry, both within the wholesale and retail sectors. Today the company operates from our own production facility near Ditching in East Sussex.

Around 5 years ago, we became aware that surprisingly, all Tahini in the UK was imported, and was often of dubious origin and poor quality.
This meant that even the most highly certificated UK manufacturers of Hummus and other products were at the mercy of this imported Tahini, and whatever else was in it.
To this day, imported Tahini can contain undesirable additives such as whiteners (Titanium Dioxide!), preservatives, and even peanuts. This can be especially dangerous to allergy sufferers.

We carefully select where we purchase our sesame seeds, choosing only the highest quality of soils and regions to obtain tahini perfection. In fact, we only accept sesame seeds which have a purity level of 99.8%, so there is a reason why our customers and wholesalers keep coming back for more!
Even our roasting and grinding process provides an additional layer of quality, from the advanced technology we use so that the taste, texture, and nutrition in our tahini is exceptional.
