About Raw Halo
Forever a chocolate lover, in 2012 the seed for Raw Halo was planted after I reduced the sugar in my diet. I’ve always believed in a little everyday indulgence, but over the years, I’ve become more mindful about what goes into my food.
The idea started as a simple wish: I wanted to pick up a chocolate bar, count the ingredients on one hand, understand all of them, and for the chocolate to taste delicious. I couldn’t find that bar though, so I decided to make my own.
I began with a simple blend of organic cacao and a touch of coconut sugar, which was an instant hit with friends and family.
They encouraged me to dream big… and I did. In 2014, I started Raw Halo, making organic chocolate from ethically-sourced, plant-based ingredients, with shine, snap and smoothness in every bite.
I started producing small batches from my home kitchen, delivering bars by hand to local, organic stores. The business quickly proved to be a winner, and I soon needed an extra pair of hands. My husband, Jonathan joined the team and together we now run Raw Halo.
