Our Afro Butter is packed with natural butters and oils to enrich and moisturise the hair. Coconut oil ensures the moisture is coating not only the outside of the hair but also penetrates the shaft for ongoing conditioning, and shea butter adds soft and smoothness to the hair without any greasiness. Our Afro Butter is a great part of any daily hair routine, applied directly as needed, it adds moisture to the hair, making it easy to work through and style, whilst reducing frizz.

Can be used on wet or dry hair, for braid outs, twist outs & general styling. Rub between palms work into hair.

CAUTION: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If irritation or rash appears discontinue use. Test on small area of skin before full application. Store in a cool, dry place.

I think I have had a clear vision for a while now: to change the way we see, service and celebrate curly & textured hair. I was a mixed raced child adopted into a Caucasian family. It was very difficult finding products, services and knowledge for my hair type. It had a significant impact on my confidence not seeing my hair type reflected back around me. As I grew older, I began to experiment on my own and slowly learned to love my curls, in fact the bigger the better!

Working a lot in the USA meant being exposed to and trying numerous hair products. I decided then that I wanted to find something that really worked for me. Not just for me, I wanted to develop a range that would be natural and kind to all types of curls. So that no matter what your curl pattern, or how much your kink, you can feel confident that these products have been made specifically with curls in mind.

My mission is twofold. First to ensure that curls the world over are seen in their natural beauty and celebrated for their uniqueness. Second, to be the go to business for trusted expertise, product, service and support to ensure hair positivity inspires confidence

All of our own brand haircare products are approved under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme, the internationally recognisable gold standard for cruelty free products. We adhere to a fixed cut-off date policy and proactively monitor our suppliers to ensure that our products continue to adhere to the Leaping Bunny criteria. Our supplier monitoring system is also independently audited.
