Brand Jungle Culture

Jungle Culture designs and creates Earth-friendly products in collaboration with small farms, craft workshops and ethical factories. Our transparent supply chain is focused on lowering waste whilst empowering small manufacturers and poverty-stricken communities around the world.

A Single Straw

Jungle Culture was conceived to remedy the damage a single straw can do to our environment. Currently, 500 million plastic straws are discarded each year. Each of those straws can take 200 years to break down, and will still exist as micro particle plastics.

Before Jungle Culture came Jungle Straws, which was launched in August 2018 with ethically sourced, reusable drinking straws made from the lungs of the East, bamboo. Every straw is handmade in Northern Vietnam at a family-ran bamboo farm. Now they are the #1 best-selling bamboo straw product on Amazonand Jungle Straws have partnered with the likes of National Geographic,BBC Earth andTOMS.

Our journey has since taken us from Northern Vietnam to the coconut kingdom of Southern Vietnam, with a couple of detours along the way. As world travellers with a love for life, we were transfixed with saving the natural environment as well as connecting with cultures of far-flung communities. And so, Jungle Culture was hatched!

Now, under the Jungle Culture canopy, we produce organic coconut bowls, bamboo cutlery, safety razors, shaving soaps, wooden cups and more. All are made from sustainable materials and innovatively crafted with leading British designers and Asian artisans.

As a nomadic business, we straddle East and West. Our Headquarters is in Britain, but we continue to make regular visits to our partner farms, factories and craft workshops in Asia. This way we are able to guarantee fair treatment of workers, high-quality production standards and 100% organic manufacturing. Nothing is imported, nothing puts a strain on the planet, and every sale benefits local communities.

Jungle Culture is all about human culture. From the farmers and artisans we work with in rural Vietnam, to the restaurants, independent brands, shops and customers we serve. We put as much care into forging a unity with our tribe of partners as we do creating our products.

We are still explorers at heart, and the journey of Jungle Culture is as organic as our products. Just like bamboo shoots, our beliefs continue to grow and lead us to harvest new ideas. The thing about adopting a sustainable life is that it's never too late to begin, so why not start your own journey with us today with that single straw.

  • Jungle Culture’s 100% natural loofahs are the perfect organic scrubbing device for soaking in the shower, bath or cleaning around the house!

Natural loofahs are often thought to be sea creatures, but this common misconception is entirely untrue. Loofahs are actually part of the cucumber family! The loofah fruit grows on vines and when ripened, it’s removed and dried, where it transforms into an effective natural cleaning utensil!

Our organic loofahs can be used as a sponge in the shower or bath, or they can be used as a household cleaning tool to scrub your floor tiles, hardwood furniture and much more! You can even chop our loofahs up into smaller pieces and use them to clean pots and pans! They really are the most versatile natural cleaning tool available!

    Set Contains:

    1 x Natural loofah
    1. Excellent Exfoliator: Natural loofahs have a coarse and granular surface, making them incredible exfoliators. Gently rub your loofah over your skin during the shower to remove dead skin cells and replenish your skin’s natural glow!
    2. Household cleaning tool: Our natural loofahs can also be used as an alternative surface scrubber. Our loofah’s absorbent, sponge-like texture is great at soaking up liquids, whilst the granular surface is perfect for scouring tough stains.
    3. Plastic-free pots and pan’s scrubber: Natural loofahs are incredibly versatile! Simply chop up one of our organic loofahs and use it to scrub pots and pans or even root vegetables!
    4. Zero waste loofah: Our loofahs are 100% organic and natural. They are packaged plastic-free and zero waste. Natural loofahs are arguably the most eco-friendly cleaning tool there is!
    5. Machine washable: Our organic loofahs can be cleaned easily and simply by tossing them in the washing machine on a cold cycle. Simple!
  • How to clean a loofah:

Your loofah can be cleaned one of two ways:

    1. Mix a bucket of water (90% water, 10% bleach) and soak your loofah for 5-10 minutes. Afterwards, wring your loofah out and hang up to dry.

    2. Place your loofah in the washing machine on a cold cycle or low heat cycle. Afterwards, wring your loofah out and hang up to dry.

How long should a loofah last?

Our loofahs can last as long as one year if cleaned and dried properly. Natural loofahs are 100% compostable, when you are finished with your loofah, simply chop it up and place in your compost or green garden bin.
